Fun Things to Do in
Centerville!
Winery, Restaurants, Shopping, Farmer's Market, Live Music Radio Show &
more!
| After you
look at my furniture why not stay awhile
in Centerville. You can visit my neighbors up the road at the Grinder's Switch
Winery and enjoy some of their award-winning wines. We also have a beautiful
town square where you can find great shopping at several boutique shops. I
recommend staying for lunch or supper at one of the several restaurants in
town. If you come look at furniture on Saturday, you can go to the town square
and be part of the live audience during the live, indoor radio broadcast of the
"Grinder's Switch Hour which features country music artists and more (Free
admission). I listen on the radio every Saturday in my workshop and it's a
great show. |

Totty's Bend Farm &
Dairy Handcrafted Farmstead Soaps
(Soaps available
at the Centerville Marketplace Seen Above - 6 miles from my workshop)
My wife and I love these
goat milk soaps by Totty's Bend Farm and Dairy. I use a bar of "Green
Thumb" goat milk soap after a day of building furniture and my wife's
favorite is the "Little Lot Lavender" but they have a lot of other
varieties too. We like their soaps because they're made from scratch in small
batches with whole ingredients. They also have goat milk lotions and even
laundry detergent. You can get them at the Centerville Marketplace which is
close to my workshop.

Great BBQ. I usually try something different each time I go. I like their

Saturdays. In fact - my brother-in-law loves their ribs so much that when he
visits us from St. Louis, he will only come if the trip falls on a Friday or
Saturday so we can go out for ribs at PAPA Kay Joe's. And if you come to look
at my furniture but you don't have time for a sit down meal - they have great
take-out too.

together some of the best cookies, pies, and home preserved jellies I've had.
Year round she is also known for great BBQ chicken & ribs and deli

sandwich!
