I CAN CUSTOM BUILD FURNITURE (see below)
No particleboard is used in my creations. It is strictly handcrafted, solid wood furniture. It is built with a mix of new and reclaimed lumber by me in my workshop located right here on my farm in middle Tennessee. You will not find these in any store! Please take a look below at just a few of the furniture pieces I have built for customers. All of these can be created to meet your specific size or color requirements. Karen Loves Her New Table

I built this table for Karen in Nashville. She wanted a table 38 inches by 38 inches and could not find one, so she liked my work and hired me to build her a barnwood top table. It was a fun project. I used barnwood from four different barns for the table top and used new wood for the base and legs. I painted the base and legs black and distressed the edges. I was hired to build these cubes for an antique mall. They gave me a drawing of what they wanted and I built it out of solid wood and put some solid wood feet on the bottom. Barnwood Table and Benches

I built this table for a husband and wife who removed the front porch off a very old home in Centerville Tennessee. The home has been in the family for years and the owner wanted to somehow use the wood from the porch where she had so many great memories. She wanted a table and two benches made and she approached me about the project. As soon as she told me what she wanted to do, I jumped at the chance. I first built the four legs of the table out of the solid oak 2x4 rafter boards of the porch. I took two 2x4s and glued and screwed them together to make four hardy 4x4 legs. I then took the old porch oak floor boards and built the top of the table and the benches. I painted the benches and the bottom of the table black and lightly distressed it. I then sanded and applied numerous coats of polyurathane to the top. She was so happy when seeing it. Retail Cubes at the Buffalo River Coffee Company

The owners of the Buffalo River Coffee Company hired me to build a collection of solid wood cubes to provide a clean and organized area to sell soaps, cards, T-shirts, music CDs, books, rustic barnwood signs, all produced by local artists. I was glad to help because I am always using their free WI-FI to check my emails when I am in town and I visit the used-bookstore in the coffee shop. Wall Unit Bookshelves and Storage Project

A couple from Summertown, Tennessee was looking for storage and book and display shelves for their multimedia room and they wanted them built out of solid wood instead of the particleboard construction they were finding at the stores. I built them out of solid wood to the exact measurements that they wanted. The managing partner of Village Media Services contacted me to build a custom desk for his home office. He creates video marketing tools and video commercials, audio demos, albums as well as multimedia CDs and DVDs for companies and individuals in middle Tennessee and beyond. So with his schedule, he really needed an organized home office space with plenty of drawer storage and file cabinet storage. I built the piece, then I painted and stained it to match the colors he and his wife picked out. If you ever need any video, audio or multimedia production created, Phil is your guy. Grinder's Switch Winery Wine Cabinets Project

The Grinder's Switch Winery in Centerville, Tennessee hired me to build three large wine cabinet units for their wine tasting room. After working closely with the owners to design the pieces, I custom built all of the sections out of solid wood. I even built the third wine cabinet section around a refrigerator and stationary sink which could not be moved. I also designed all three pieces around a beautiful iron mirror that now nests between the two tall cabinets. Bookshelves for Used Bookstore in Hohenwald

This project was for a woman who has a 200 square foot, high-quality used bookstore in an antique mall in Hohenwald Tennessee. I built all the cabinets out of solid wood and then stained them with red mahogany stain. I added nice details to the top, bottom and sides of the bookshelves to give them an very nice, high-end look. I also built the freestanding tables in the middle of the bookstore. The bookstore owner and the owners of the antique mall are very pleased.

Home Office Work Table

I built this farm table-style work table for a woman in Centerville who wanted to redo her home office. I built it all out of solid wood, including the hardy solid wood legs. I made her table top a full 1 1/2 inches thick so that it was in proportion with large-size legs. It looks very nice in her office as you can see above in the photo.

A nice couple from Mt. Juliet Tennessee hired me to build two towers with a bridge over the top connecting the two. They already had a piece of furniture to hold their wide-screen TV but they wanted two towers to flank the existing piece and TV. I built this piece out of solid wood, then painted it white, and distressed the edges. I stained the tops and the bridge of each piece as well.

Store Checkout Counter

A woman who was opening her own business in Murfreesboro wanted a double sided checkout counter. I built her this one with shelves on one side for the clerk to store bags, boxes, etc. Then I made shelves on the customer side to hold and display impulse purchase items. I painted the bottom all white and I stained the top using a golden pecan colored stain.
